Independence American Insurance Company (IAIC) specializes in specialty health insurance and is licensed in 50 states. Our goal is to provide unique product offerings and quality service to both our agents and customers.

Independence Holding Company, formed in 1980, is a holding company that is principally engaged in underwriting, administering and/or distributing group and individual specialty benefit products, including disability, supplemental health, pet, and group life insurance through IHC Specialty Benefits, Inc., a technology-driven full-service marketing and distribution company, and its three insurance companies.

The three insurance companies are:

Madison National Life Insurance Company, Inc.
Independence American Insurance Company
Independence Holding Company and its subsidiaries are commonly referred to as “The IHC Group.”
