We are in the process of planning for all the year-end requests so that we can assure that each request is addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Please be informed that GCU has established a cutoff date of Wednesday, December 16, 2020 for receiving Annuity Partial Withdrawal (including RMD & Inherited IRA distributions), Annuity Cash Surrender and Life Insurance Cash Surrender requests for processing by year end. This includes requests received via fax, email, web requests & mail via courier or the US Postal Service. Please note that a W-9 Form will need to be completed and forwarded with any request for withdrawals or surrenders.
If the information is received and in good order by the end of business on Wednesday, December 16 it will be processed by Tuesday December 29 for the 2020 tax reporting period.
If request and all documentation are received after close of business on December 16, the GCU will work to complete the request but cannot guarantee processing before year-end.
